Ever wanted to learn about the planets, but never wanted to worry about class grades? Community Planetary Science 101 is for you then. You will have hands-on experience using telescopes, cameras, and binoculars. Topics covered: interaction between the sun and planets, geology of the planets, quest for water and life, asteroids, comets & meteorites, extra-solar planets, planet formation, our moon and more. The cost of the course will be $80.00. (Bring cash or check on the first day of class. Make checks payable to the Dakota Science Center) Each participant will receive a package of materials. Classes will be held at the East Grand Forks Heritage Village Amundson classroom (219 20 Street NE, East Grand Forks, MN).
