Family Astronomy Night
Friday May 22, 2026 9pm If there is inclement weather Friday the event will be held on Saturday May 23, 2026. Hosted by the UND Northern Sky Astronomical Society
Come and see the Skylar-George Public Observatory that has been donated to the Dakota Science Center, to be used by the Northern Sky Astronomical Society and located behind the Heritage Village, Amundson building at 219 20 Street NE, East Grand Forks, MN. The roll-off-roof observatory building houses a robotic telescope. The UND Northern Sky Astronomical Society will have telescopes set up to share with the public, they will help those that bring a telescope, and they will be on hand to answer questions.
